Jeder Mensch, der Swutscher schon einmal Live erleben durfte, weiß, dass es sich hierbei nicht nur um ein geistiges, sondern auch um ein körperliches Erlebnis handelt. Mit einer unbeschreiblichen Wucht und Energie walzen sie jegliche dem Publikum innewohnende Vernunft nieder und führen es so in eine wundervolle Entgrenzung. Der Geist, der diesem als Band getarnten Überfallkommando innewohnt, ist auf grandiose Weise in ihrem Hit "Auf Achse" verewigt. Aber der Reiz von Swutscher erschöpft sich nicht in Brachialität und Ekstase. Ihr neuer Song DAHEIM ist das Gegenstück zu "Auf Achse": "Ich bin daheim" und "Ich will nie wieder weg", heißt es dort. Der gesamte Text ist kurz und sagt doch alles "Ich trag noch immer Deinen Schal" singt Sascha Utech und sagt mit dieser vermeintlich kleinen Zeile so viel. Das Timbre in Saschas Stimme und die wunderschön rumpelnde Kraft der Band lassen uns erkennen: Diese Sehnsüchte werden für Swutscher Utopien bleiben. Eine Zeile wie "Die Stube ist doch der schönste Platz im All", würde bei anderen Bands bieder wirken. Bei Swutscher verursacht sie Gänsehaut. Denn paradoxerweise wird dieser Song live für ganz besondere Ekstase sorgen. Dafür sind natürlich auch Songwriting, Arrangement und Produktion verantwortlich. Die Band hat sich für die Kompromisslosigkeit entschieden. Ihre musikalische Lebendigkeit unterscheidet sie von anderen Bands ihrer Generation, die aus opportunistischen Gründen oder mangelnder Power Pfade der Harmlosigkeit beschreiten und sich so ihrer eigenen Bedeutung berauben. Macht weiter so, Swutscher!
